Looking down on the dream world

Photographer Jan Von Holleben has a unique style of photography, where he takes everyday objects and arranges them into picturesque scenes. Jan gained popularity from his Dreams of Flying collection. He has recently photographed a new collection based on dreams and what they mean to us. Read more to see more of Jan’s work.

I particularly like these images as I think they really portray how we feel when we are dreaming, that our minds really do feel that we are living out the dream, when the reality is, we’re just in bed in our pajama’s!

Jon von Hollenben website is well worth a visit. As a designer it is creativity like this that gets me buzzing on the possibilities for new projects.

These are really clever, I like the way they are shot from above. The other shots are quite interesting too – for example there is a Star Wars fight between Luke and Darth & it is interesting as the models are literally laying on the floor in the striking poses…

These are great and like you Nigel, this way of thinking outside the box is inspiring. I think my favourite is simply the upside down coat hangers as birds!
