This hilarious advert by LEGO has had me in stitches. Not only is it funny, it’s for LEGO (one of my favourite brands) and it’s Star Wars LEGO, does it get any better than that?

I’ll let you watch it first so I don’t give away the ending …

I must say stepping on a bit of LEGO is absolutely excruciating, so I feel for the dad in the commercial.

What I like about this advert though is how the humour reflects the Star Wars animations they produce, which often have a level of adult humour and sarcasm in them. Often LEGO adverts are very traditional, family affairs, with daddy helping a small boy build an amazing creation and those these sorts  of adverts have a place it’s nice to see LEGO break away from that comfort zone and try something a bit different with hilarious results.
