There are two things we like at Acumen
Design, a well–placed infographic is definitely one, and if the Christmas party
was anything to go by, then wine is the other.
Australian designer Gemma Warriner has created four wine labels for Equilibrium Estates to help illustrate sustainable production methods. Nestled in the Hunter Valley region of New South Whales, this eco-friendly wine maker is sticking to its ethical practices to make sustainable, carbon neutral Australian wine.
The labels, which double as infographics, feature an aspect of the company’s eco-friendly production
as they consume the wine—for example, the waves on one label disappear as the
wine is poured out, showing that the winery’s business practices help reduce
the world’s sea levels, an effect of climate change.
The other illustrations show that the winery uses only organic grapes and makes an effort reduce water and carbon dioxide emissions during production.
So when you fancy a bottle of wine at the end of a long day – perhaps grab a bottle that cares about the environment.
