I find these artworks strangely mesmerizing and even the still images look like they are moving.

A mixture of visual and performance art, Russian ceramics artist Mikhail Sadovnikov draws a seemingly endless series of patterns with wet clay (also know as slip) on a spinning potter’s wheel. It’s incredible the way he uses just his hands and basic tools to make perfect symmetrical designs.

I’ve used a potter’s wheel to create a wonky plant pot and its not easy so how Sadovnikov makes such beautiful patterns, seemingly effortlessly is a pleasure to watch.
