A brochure doesn't automatically make great event graphics

Designs that work well in print at a small scale do not always have the same impact large scale. When working on an event with large graphics completing a site visit is so helpful, and then taking pictures and designing mock-ups in situ is the best way to test the design concept. Obviously typography needs careful consideration for legibility, but also the choice of images, how much detail they have and the impact when seen large and from a distance. In the same way a brochure does not make a great website brief, neither does a brochure automatically translate to event graphics.
